The 83rd annual pickerel tournament, put on by the algonac lions club, is coming to downtown algonac from july 1 to 5. Sunday, the tournament's main parade took place along st. 84th annual algonac pickerel festival.

The pickerel tournament will be a full event this year,. Fireworks, parades, a carnival midway, and of course a fishing tournament all return to algonac this fourth of july weekend for the 83rd pickerel tournament and festival. Participants must be registered by 10 p.m.
